Next Board Meeting

Board Members

We would like to welcome to two newest members to the board of directors. Justine Ellinwood and Michael Bourque. We now have a FULL board. We are thankful for these new members joining us.

Snow Plow Updates

The 2022/2023 snow plow procedure can be found here. There is an OPT IN text alert option available to homeowners if you’d like text sent to your cell phone to alert you when the plow is expected to be headed to your street. If you’d like to receive these alerts, please email lisa.mackey@greatnorth.net with your Name, unit and cell phone # that you want to receive the texts.

Homeowners Not Receiving Broadcast Emails:

It looks like several servers are reporting the emails as spam, if you want to receive the emails you will need to adjust your settings - often just adding the email address the email comes from [ours] to your contact list will help.

Please look in your spam or junk mail for the messages.  In addition, some folks have not set up their accounts and their emails have not been added.  If you send an email to support@greatnorth.net with your new portal login they can help you access the site and make sure you get these important emails.

Dog Poop Bags

To save some money and promote recycling, the board has purchased some mesh bags that have been hung at the dog poop stations which will be filled with used shopping bags.  If you have any plastic bags you don't need, feel free to donate them for this purpose.  The area for donations is a garbage bin in the kayak storage area by the community building.  Justin will take bags from this bin and refill the mesh bags as needed.

The Island Shores Board of Directors has agreed, at the request of several owners, to establish an e-mail address that will go directly to the Board and not to the property manager. Please review the guidelines for usage of this new form of communication.
